We also see ourselves as our client’s strategic partners, who are well placed in the insurance industry to advice, design and develop the most cost effective, efficient and holistic risk solution to mitigate their risk and meet their insurance needs and requirements. Who is Sankofa?
Founded by two brokers – William Ayim-Yeboah and Tshepo Riba - with more than 40 years experience between them, Sankofa offers clients the benefits of long experience with major accounts, coupled to the personal touch of dealing with a small company.
Ayim-Yeboah and Riba both hold numerous qualifications in the sector and between them, have gained their experience working for several of the continent’s largest insurance broking houses.
This means that although Sankofa is a new company, it has been founded by two brokers who have handled many major accounts in their time, and have also sat on numerous management and strategic committees, meaning they are able to offer a vast reservoir of knowledge to their client base.
Their experience also transcends national boundaries, having worked on accounts that encompass the whole of Africa. Therefore, it is Sankofa’s aim to take its business model beyond South Africa and into the rest of Africa. The company is built on four core values:
