William Kwaku Ayim Yeboah
Director
William Kwaku Ayim Yeboah is a seasoned insurance broker who began his insurance career with Transkei Insurance Brokers . At the time, the company's shareholders were the three largest broking houses in South Africa, namely: Willis Faber Enthoven, Price Forbes and Minets. He also held various senior and Executive positions with Alexander Forbes and Thebe Risk Services, before being head-hunted by Glenrand MIB as their national sales and marketing director for Africa. He holds several industry qualifications and is an associate member of the Institute of Risk Managers SA as well as a Professional Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Gugu Mkhize
Director
Gugu Mkhize, a Director of Sankofa has several years of experience in the financial and banking industries. She brings valuable experience that was gained when she served companies such as Transkei Development Corporation (Government Agency), Mvula Trust, Astro Park, a business unit of Denel Aviation, and ABSA Management Accountant. She holds a B Comm in Accounting from the National University of Lesotho, and has completed various management courses offered at WITS Business School, The Gordon Institute of Business Science and Leadership.
Mike Gumenge
Account Executive
Mike Gumenge a graduate of the University of Cape Town (UCT), Mike graduated from UCT with a Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry. Currently an Account Executive with Sankofa Insurance Brokers, Mike has 18 years experience in Insurance Brokering and Servicing. He is currently registered for a Diploma in Insurance. Mike has previously worked with Alexander Forbes Risk Solutions and Glenrand MIB. Some accounts handled include The Protea Hotels Group, Protea Coins, GSS Security and Globe Engineering to name a few.
Nhlokomo Ngwenya
Account Manager
Nhlokomo Ngwenya is a graduate of the National University of Science and Technology (NUST). Nhlokomo graduated from NUST with an Honours Degree in Risk Management and Insurance. He has also passed the RE5 exam. He is currently an Account Manager with Sankofa Insurance Brokers. Nhlokomo has 8 years’ experience in Risk Advisory, Insurance Brokering and Claims Management Services of Municipalities, Corporate, Public Entities, Parastatals, SMMES and Personal Lines clients He is currently registered for a Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) in UK for an Advanced Diploma in Insurance.
